I was incharge of mise-en-scene. Therefore I was tasked with creating the prop book for the killers perspective shoot. I bought a fake leather note book and I needed to make the book look like it was owned by a psychopath. This ment that I had to first make it look dirty. So firstly I used a teabag and water. Then I rubbed the teabag into the page, I did this so I was able to make the pages look old. After that dried, I researched different quotes from murderers and serial killers and I wrote a few around the book in very messy and different writing to make the owner look mad.
I got two of my friends to send me pictures of them as children and I then cut those pictures down to make them look as tho they were polaroids. I stuck them in the book with gaffa tape this made it look very gritty, I was then able to scribble out their eyes.
