Filming

We began to film today. Over the next few weeks we will be filming  the killers perspective and then the investigation/ police setting.

for there killers perspective we booked out a drama room, this room was perfect for the shoots we wanted to create. within this room it is easy to create low key lighting as the walls are painted so it does not reflect as much light this means by blocking the windows and doors we are able to create complete darkness.

 

 
 
When lights are off

 

However we ran into an issue with the room as the performance lights did not work this was a dilemma as we were going too use the lights to dimly light the room, however we came up with the idea of using our phone torches to light the scene. this was perfect as 2 phone torches lit the scene just enough to see whats going on but not enough to show the tables and chairs within the room, the torches also gave off very cold but still soft light last over the scene.
