Second screening
Second screening
We got more feedback sheets to show us what was good and what was bad about our title sequence, this ment we had a second opinion and an outsiders perspective on things.
When going through the sheets we noticed that a lot of the others thought that the investigation scenes lighting was too bright so for us we are thinking about re shooting or using Final Cut Pro to change the opacity to make it look darker.
Another critical point was that george wasn't wearing any sort of clothing that would assume he was a detective, this will be taken on board as we may be re shooting the scene.
However a lot of the class really liked the title at the end where the letters flashed in sync with the drum hits within the soundtrack so thats something we will keep through the title sequence.
Like our first screening the class loved the cinematography and they liked the range of shots tommy had created. They also liked the style of editing max had done with quick flashes that fell in time with the soundtrack I had made. They also still liked the use of the strobe light in the killer scene
The class also mentioned we could have more destitution within the killers scenes as though they could feel they were in the mind of a killer.

Feedback and First screening
Today we presented to the class our first screening which didn't go as well as we wanted it to simply because Max didn't have the footage we recored until today. From the footage of the first shoot he was able to put together a first screening however it didn't credit the group as well as we hoped. From what we have edited so far the entire class saw the potential of the title sequence because what we had was good and Max's editing was very well done. The class thought our cinematography was good and the soundtrack Max added suited the footage very well as the soundtrack seemed to build mention. The things the class thought we need to develop are the investigation scene, clearer narrative and the length of what we presented which i agree with. Out of the class ours had the second longest length however it was still just 40 seconds which isn't good enough as a title sequence is usually at the least a minute.
However the class loved the cinematography and lighting and mise en scene within the sequence
We also created feedback sheets as a way of seeing what we did well and what needs improving.
