final font
in our finished Title sequence the font that will be used for the titles is going to be ''Mistral'' which is the same font used in our second screening. Although we said before that we might need to change it, we were unable to find another font that we thought would work/suit our title sequence better then the one we originally used. Hopefully this will turn out to be a good choice to have made.

Audience Profile
Audience Profile for the film 4 days
Occupation: Young adults in part time jobs or students with an interest in thriller psycho killer movies with a crime style to them.
Education: Any
Personality/ Interests: An interest in thriller movies with a bit of gore in and murder cases. People who enjoy the thrill of a movie and are looking for surprises. Males tend to watch these kinds of movies more often then women as most enjoy watching violent kinds of movies and dont mind a bit of gore here and there.
Students who may attend colleges only have to attend a few days of the week meaning they have more spare time to go to the cinema and view the film. Young adults would have finished their education and looking for jobs so during this perios of time they are free alot of the time giving them the option of going to the cinema more often.
Our secondary audience would have to be Adults (roughly 30+). Even though i say secondary i still believe they could be classed as the primary because majority of people do enjoy watching crime films so i wouldn't expect people 30+ to not watch this film.
Target Age: 15-25
Target Gender and nationality: Male, white, British, American
Demographic Code: E, D, C

Second screening
Second screening
We got more feedback sheets to show us what was good and what was bad about our title sequence, this ment we had a second opinion and an outsiders perspective on things.
When going through the sheets we noticed that a lot of the others thought that the investigation scenes lighting was too bright so for us we are thinking about re shooting or using Final Cut Pro to change the opacity to make it look darker.
Another critical point was that george wasn't wearing any sort of clothing that would assume he was a detective, this will be taken on board as we may be re shooting the scene.
However a lot of the class really liked the title at the end where the letters flashed in sync with the drum hits within the soundtrack so thats something we will keep through the title sequence.
Like our first screening the class loved the cinematography and they liked the range of shots tommy had created. They also liked the style of editing max had done with quick flashes that fell in time with the soundtrack I had made. They also still liked the use of the strobe light in the killer scene
The class also mentioned we could have more destitution within the killers scenes as though they could feel they were in the mind of a killer.

Music
With the music for the title sequence I used loops and panning to create different moods within the track. There are two main parts of the track the darker more low orchestral parts of the song where made to fit the killers scenes within the sequence and the lighter faster orchestral piece is used for the investigation scene.
For the killers scene I used deeper darker bass and cello tones to create suspense and a sense of fear, I gradually built the sounds up and made them thicker and this really portrayed the dark mind of a psychopath and I feel that it built suspense and fear very well.
For the investigation scene I used higher pitched loops as this helped build tention within the scene and almost feel that the guy in the scene was working against time to solve the case, I did this by adding a fast paced high viola section then I slowly added different loops to slowly build tention and make the scene feel very clostrophobic and gave the investigation a sense of urgency .

Investigation re-shoot
These are the images or our set up and re shoot for the investigation scene. I was incharge of mise en scene and I had to make sure the room looked more like an investigation scene. Tommy was working on cinematography and was able to focus the lense enough that we were able to get an extreme close up of the pin board investigation.

Once we were set up we wanted to show the opposite between good and evil, we were able to use the footage we had from the killer to create like a parallel compared to the investigation scene and the killer scene. We used the shot of the killer up the table head on and then create the opposite by filming an over the shoulder shot of George as if he's facing the killer down the table. To create a parallel/contrapuntal shot.
